Innovate And Impress With Spa Gift Certificates

“Gift certificates have changed the scenario of gifting. With almost all types of products and services available in the form of gift certificates, impressing someone is just a click away. You can select from restaurants, spa centers, massage centers, apparel, furniture, holidays, resort booking, clubs, beauty products, household items and much more” (Steve M).

Holiday season has begun! Today is Black Friday which is the beginning of the holiday shopping chaos. To make life a bit easier; consider purchasing gift certificates for those family members or friends that you have difficulty finding gifts for. Gift certificates are a great way to show someone you care, and you don’t even have to leave your home to buy them! Many gift certificates can be purchased online these days.

Steve recommends Spa gift certificates because of the many choices Spa’s have to offer. “Gift Certificates can be combined and personalized to the receivers’ liking. Spa sessions are very relaxing and have the ability to make the day extra special. Spa gift certificates are ideal gifts for anyone. Be it your friends, colleagues, family members, or relatives, spa gift certificates can refresh anyone’s mood in no time. They can be combined with massage gift certificates. All salons and parlors offer packages to select from” (Steve M).

Gift certificates can also make great ad-on gifts or even wonderful stocking stuffers!

Celebrate The Holidays! How To Save Money On Presents

“During the holidays a segment of the population will go overboard on gift buying for family and friends. Some do it out of guilt and others do it to make themselves feel better and still some do it to see the happiness of the recipient. Developing a strategy for holiday spending is wise if you are one of those who blow the budget and spend the rest of the year paying gifts off” (Christian Stan).

TWO DAYS UNTIL BLACK FRIDAY! Black Friday; possibly the scariest day of the year. People look forward to this day every year; camping out in tents, going to stores at 3am; beating up the nearest stranger for the last Tickle Me Elmo! Maybe I have such hatred towards this day because I’ve worked in retail for quite some time? Or maybe I’ve just seen people become so vulturous to save the closest penny? Whatever the case may be, I would love for people to shop smart and stay away from this horrid day!

Now, I know money is tight and saving is a great way to go; but come on people, take it easy! There will be sales throughout the month! Christian makes a great point of organizing your shopping list before you begin which will take away all of those impulsive buys you seem to get tricked into because you see, “buy one get one free!”

“Another plan you may want to implement is shopping year round. Choose the items you wish to give shop for them when they are on sale or better yet on clearance and purchase them as you find them. This will spread your spending over a period of time and will allow you to take advantage of the best possible price to be found” (Christian Stan).

For all of you avid Black Friday shoppers, I wish you luck, and will never understand why you put yourselves through that torment!

The Importance Of Food Hygiene In The Modern Day Restaurant

“Many establishments neglect basic food hygiene regulations, often at a cost to quality of the food they produce, for many reasons. We need to ensure that they go home satisfied every time they visit, and doing so not only requires impeccable food, but impeccable standards” (Lee Price)

Searching For Jobs Gets A New Meaning

“We have been taught since childhood to go to the school, study hard, get good grades and land a job in a top corporation to lead a successful life. But no school teaches us how to compete against thousands of candidates with degrees, percentages and experience the same as you have. Every individual has unique characteristics and skills. So finding a suitable job is a daunting task” (Allen Joy).

You’ve graduated college and you have your degree; now what? You are thrown into the real word, hopefully you have some sort of road you would like to take when it comes to applying for jobs; but the majority of us are scared, and confused. Asking ourselves, “What do I want to do?” “Who do I want to be?” “Where do I see myself?” “Where can I make the most money?” All of these questions are floating around, it’s overwhelming and frightening.

Allen’s article provides us with some great tips on landing a job that is suitable for your lifestyle; and future. “Employers look for skills and abilities while choosing a candidate, thus while seeking jobs you should highlight skills required for the position you are applying for and also showcase extra abilities that you can put forward for the company. With the rise in competition it is not astonishing to find a thousand applications for a meager amount of positions vacant. Thus you need a strong resume which will stand out among all the applications screaming out aloud that you are the ideal applicant for that position” (Allen Joy).

Job searching is getting much easier with online websites; however it’s up to you to land the job. Get some great ideas on resume formatting with Allen’s article!

Yoga Trend Or Treasure?

“While for some yoga is a spiritual practice, for others it is purely physical. Modern yoga as we know it has only been around for only a century, but that doesn’t mean that claims it can help cure physical ailments are meritless” (Catherine Barron).

I usually tend to be lured into the kick boxing, spinning, and dance classes; however I’ve tried Yoga several times and it amazes me how instructors as well as followers can put themselves in this meditative trans while placing themselves in these nearly impossible body positions!

Maybe my mind and thoughts run too quickly; or maybe my body just finds it comedic when I try and position it into these Yoga poses? Whatever the case may be, I will continue to battle this Yoga experience and not leave the class feeling embarrassed and confused to why I couldn’t stand still for more than 30 seconds.

After reading Catherine’s article; I’ve concluded that maybe I just have been taking the wrong classes! There are so many different types of Yoga that I was unfamiliar with! Catherine’s descriptions of  each genre of Yoga make it easier for us Yoga strugglers to pick a class that will fit well with our lifestyles.
